Decadence is acceptable

For New Years Eve & day I ate truffled goose foie gras, drank cham - pag - nee, had oysters on the half shell, which are an excellent low fat source of protein btw, scarfed down mold ripened goats cheese and imbibed on more cocktails, olive spreads, and more sinful goodies and did not feel guilty. For why you ask? Yes I am going to try to lose weight but I am not trying to lose myself along the way. I will be having fun living and losing with my fat - full lifestyle.

I am also baking a cake, for fun which I never get to do. I hope to have 1-2 slices and give the rest away. I will take photos and upload them in the afternoon when the cake is completed as well as a description.

I will be making a weekly menu today which will include calorie count, protein content, and possible WW points which will not be entirely accurate as I am not on the program. The menu will be posted on Sunday.

Dilemma: should I join a gym?

see you soon

Life is NOT Fat- Free

and soon you won't have to attempt live in an unnatural manner either. Reason for this blog:
I have decided to go back down to a size 0 and then decide from there what my ideal size is which may well be a size 6.
I will not touch anything fat free and seriously get disgusted when I see people believe to lose weight they must sacrifice flavor.
I am on a 52 weeks personal challenge where accountability is key and hey an audience makes me show out like no other.
I cook a lot so why not document my recipes somewhere. I can't possibly remember everything I have made and what I like so this blog can kill a few birds with with one pebble.
I won't get on the scale either to document my weight loss so we will go by how an article of clothing fits. Not trying to be all anxiety ridden because that isn't really fun.
Btw I am a baker who is surrounded by sugar and butter all day long so I am tempted just as much if not more than every other person looking to stay healthy. My secret weapon will be... simply everything in moderation. Nothing more nothing less. So join me as I eat cupcakes, burgers and fruit salads, drink wine, beer and water and slim down.
